The AC trigger switches represent three standard switch shapes. These switches are designed to meet the requirements of the approval boards (UL/CSA/IEC) for a wide variety of power tools and users.
The
European shape contains the IEC Models 35 and 50. Switch rating ranges up to 10A UL/CSA and 8(8)A IEC.
The US shape contains the UL/CSA Models 17,
27,
37 and the IEC 3 mm models 11,47, 57, 67, 77. The switch rating ranges up to 12A UL/CSA and 6(6) A IEC.
Both mentioned shapes are available with or without forward/reverse module, with 1,2 and 3 finger trigger actuators, speed preset wheels and lock buttons in different shapes and colour. The electronic modules are available in a wide range with half wave or full wave control.
The heavy-duty shape contains model 20 and offers current ratings up to 250V/14A and 125V/20 A (UL/CSA) with or without electronic power control and with high reliability under severe conditions.

Model 50, released in 2000, is now running at high volumes. Customer response on the innovative line cord Quick Release terminals and the bottom in-top out configuration is very positive. Extension of the model 50 program shows up to 125V/10A switches with high capacity integrated electronic power and potentiometer versions. |
